As senior associate at RiverVest’s St. Louis office, Isaac Zike, Ph.D., facilitates the evaluation of new investment opportunities by conducting due diligence on prospective portfolio companies while also supporting the operational activities of current portfolio companies. Dr. Zike also participates in the identification of novel investment opportunities.
Dr. Zike previously served as life sciences associate with the Huron Consulting Group in New York, NY, where he assisted pharmaceutical and biotech clients on strategic projects ranging from early optimization of R&D processes to commercialization strategies for marketed products.

He received his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University in the lab of Dr. Veenstra-VanderWeele where his thesis work focused on the validation of novel animal models for psychiatric disease. He received his B.S. from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where he double majored in Biochemistry and Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development.
